Ecc. 3:11

This is for my husband, David.

As we approach our 14th anniversary later this year, I have so many reasons to thank Christ for what He has done in our lives.  Here's a glance at what I see.

It all began WAY back when.  Too bad we weren't together here, you were hot (of course, I have you now and you're SUPER hot...so I still win!)

and I looked like this:

Eventually we realized we were meant to be together.

You have loved me through many, many, changes:

Whether it was hair -

or pregnancies -

learning to be a mama -

I even got glasses -

You loved me despite seeing this face (brought about by the 6 pack, of course!):

You loved me during the early days of motherhood, which left me like this:

In 2008, we packed up everything we had and left our family and friends for a new start (for better):

You bought us a home (for richer) -

Then, in 2010, we lost it all.  The Lord gives and the Lord takes away, blessed be the name of the Lord. (for worse)

You brought us back to our family and friends (for poorer - financially, but DEFINITELY for better!) -

While you waited for a new job you remained busy, exploring all your gifts and pursuing your dreams:

hee hee

But seriously, it took a long time and you were patient.  Even though you have 6 of your own to watch over, you took on the responsibility of spiritually training the children AND the youth at Lakeview.  And you work full-time in addition to it:

Sometimes you even had to use physical force:

You've been there each and every day for your children:

And you've been there each and every day for me (in sickness):

And in health.
I love you. Always.

This has been our verse from the beginning, we had it in our home once and I'm sure we will again someday.

Edit: Update June 2015 - we do have it in our new house

And I'm so thankful I did.
